Emily graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Musculoskeletal Therapy) at Endeavour College of Natural Health in Brisbane.
For two years she developed her skills working at Mooloolaba Massage and Sports Health Clinic and Coastal Physiotherapy on the Sunshine Coast.
Following her time on the Sunshine Coast she traveled to the United Kingdom where she gained valuable experience working within a multidisciplinary team at Spear Physiotherapy/ Aberdeen Sports Massage in Aberdeen, Scotland. Here she gained valuable experience treating a variety of sporting individuals from the self funding recreational public, to government and university supported athletes as well as members of the local professional (Scottish Premier League) Football Club (Soccer).
Emily is one of the former managing directors of Albury Integrated Health where she lead a team of myotherapists, osteopaths, physiotherapists.
Over the years Emily has been exposed to a variety of ailments and injuries. She has a keen interest in sports and preventative care by treating muscular imbalances and dysfunctions to alleviate pain, prevent injury and enhance performance. Her commitment to professional development and continual education is what makes her grow and advance as a therapist. She believes it is important to keep up to date with new research and techniques so that her clients are given the best possible treatment.
Emily has undertaken extra training in the area of Pregnancy Massage. Expectant mothers can have peace of mind that they are in safe hands of a well qualified and knowledgeable practitioner that understands the demands that pregnancy has on the women's body throughout each trimester and postnatal.
